Tribute to Bob Booth
This is the funeral service for my father, Bob Booth. I had the privilege of building my father's casket (black walnut). The service opens with a prelude, a welcome, a meditative piano piece by my wife, Marinell, (Rachmaninov’s “Rhapsody on a Theme,” by Paganini ― my Dad’s favorite classical piece), then “Go Rest High On that Mountain,” by Vince Gil, sung by Gabe Shipp and Layla Booth (two great grandchildren), followed by my combined obituary, eulogy and homily.
